I recently stayed at Hana Hostel in Hiroshima and had a wonderful experience. I was in Hiroshima for sightseeing and stayed for four nights. The hostel's location is absolutely fantastic, just a few minutes' walk from JR Hiroshima Station. There are also shops, restaurants, and a streetcar stop nearby. The staff were friendly and proficient in English. The traditional-style room was comfortable, with tatami mats and futons. The bathrooms were clean and well-equipped, with free shampoo and soap. I also appreciated the option to buy towels and an amenity set at the reception. I felt at home and had a great stay at Hana Hostel.

I highly recommend this hotel.

I arrived early at about 11 a.m but I received my room almost immediately after 30 mins. The shared bath is pretty good with 3 of them, I did not have to wait until my turn. So close to the station, traveling was very comfortable.

Excellent location 5 minutes on foot from the Hiroshima jr station.

Close to Hiroshima Railway Station. Lots of useful information are provided including the tide time in Miyajima and weather forecast.

Because the railway is just next the hostel, it would be still noisy in the night.

Hotel quite old for the price.

As longer term business travelers, we loved the convenient location near the train station and the friendly staff, especially Anna, who spoke English fluently. The double room with private bathroom was spacious and clean, offering great value for money. The easy check-in process and comfortable facilities made our stay enjoyable. We also appreciated the small closet with ample hangers and the separate clothes rack in our room.

This hostel is conveniently located near the train station, making it easy to access transportation. The friendly staff provides excellent service, and there are many restaurants in the area to choose from. the option to rent bicycles allows for convenient exploration of the city, and the availability of lockers and coin laundry ensures a comfortable stay.

The size of the rooms may be a bit small and outdated, but they still serve their purpose well.

hana hostel staff were amazing! super friendly and helpful, and the beds in the private room with bathrooms were so comfy. they took an interest in what we wanted to do to help us make sure we could achieve it all. loved the convenient location near the train station and department store.

Noise from the train was a disturbance.
